Odds are assigned for each bet, and include a vig (fee). A “-“ sign in front of odds suggest that if you lay out that amount you stand to win $100. A “+” sign indicates the amount that would be won on a $100 bet. If the odds are -110, and you lay out $110, you would win $100 if correct (receiving the initial $110 and $100 in winnings). Please note the odds establish the ratio of amount wagered to potential winnings; however, any amount can be wagered, with the same ratio being applicable.
